Le carnaval d’hiver - Winter Carnival, Saskatoon, SK (February 11 - 12, 2012)

Come and enjoy winter fun for the whole family, in English and French! The Fédération des Francophones de Saskatoon offer you an enchanting bilingual way to beat the cold winter blues.

The event includes:

• Carnival breakfast at 11:00 a.m.
• Indoor and outdoor winter activities, including hockey, tobogganing, ice sculpture, crafts, sleigh rides and indoor curling
• Live performances by the Saskatoon Fiddle Orchestra
• 6pm supper
• Evening show, featuring Bombolessé

Jack Frost Children’s Winterfest, Charlottetown PE (February 10 - 12, 2012)

Back for its 8th year, the 2012 Jack Frost Children’s Winterfest features the theme "Hockey" - a focus for Canadian winter fun! Bring the entire family for indoor and outdoor activities - children 2 and under are free. Enjoy the most popular winter festival in the Maritimes.

The event includes:

• snow maze, slides, hockey-themed sculptures, sleigh rides
• Jack Frost and Suzy Snowflake
• skating and on-ice programming
• live entertainment and buskers
